About the .44 Magnum

The .44 Remington Magnum was introduced in 1955 and quickly became one of the most powerful handgun cartridges in commercial production. It gained its iconic cultural status through Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry films in the 1970s, cementing its place in pop culture long before Pulp Fiction brought it back into the spotlight.

As a casing it’s a substantial round – wide, heavy, and with a distinctive rimmed base. On a keyring it has real presence – you notice it in your pocket. The brass catches the light well and the engraving sits cleanly against the warm gold tone of the casing.
